This Book's Gonna Be a Good Book...




Taken from Oprah's birthday celebration performed by the Black Eyed Peas, the Ocoee Middle School contacted the band and asked for permission to alter the words in order to get their students excited about reading. Watch this short video to find out what it turned out like.

    I also loved this video. I want to be able to show it but our school blocks You Tube. Any ideas? Can you burn it to a CD? I would love to show it to my middle school kids. I have a co-worker who teaches reading and I know she would love it too. I am going to have to keep my eye out for great clips like this.

    This video showed how enthusiastic kids can become when music and fun is involved. The more we involve emotions and variety the better we serve our students. The video you posted illustrated that well.
